Sorry Customers, Softchoice is Out-of-Office… all 1400+ of us


WOW, what a day! This is one of those days that makes me feel so fortunate to be part of an amazing team at Softchoice. Not only do we have a smart, fun, All-Star crew, but we also care. We care about our customers, we care about each other, and today we showed in full force how much we care about the communities in which we live.

Softchoice employees setup their Out-Of-Office messages today and hit the streets to volunteer all across North America – from San Diego, California to Halifax, Nova Scotia we were giving back to our communities.

We had teams having fun with the kids at Sick Kids hospital in Toronto, teams working with food banks, teams teaching computer skills to those who don’t have access to technology, and teams giving back in so many more ways. This is not just a few people either, this is 1400+ Softchoice teammates going out together for our inaugural Softchoice Cares Day!

Softchoice Cares is an employee-driven philanthropic group that has raised more than $1.5 million for charities across the world since inception. We have had groups set up computer labs in rural India, provide technology to underprivileged communities, and donate funds for many disaster relief efforts over the years. These are all amazing accomplishments which should make the various board members over the years very proud. But, to me, today was different. Today was special. Today was all of us united as a team showing our communities that we are different. That we ALL care.
